ELA JAGUAR

The project was born in late summer 2019, in the aftermath of some epic days at the Vodafone Paredes de Coura music festival.
Despite their background predominantly in song-based projects (For Pete Sake and LOT), Ela Jaguar´s Pedro Sacchetti (guitar and vocals), and
Nuno Henriques (bass), started the group´s first compositions exclusively with instrumentals. Filipe Ferreira (drums) and João Fonseca (percussions) joined the 
project shortly afterwards, and the group started recording the songs that now see the light of the day. The group shares the goal of creating a self-sustainable
structure for the production of their own songs, which was attained in the rehearsal studio. There, they recorded this first EP, and are already working on its follow up.
Focusing on the production details in each new song, Ela Jaguar will release their first album at the beginning of 2025, continuing to explore instrumentals, but also joining
more styles to the mix and some themes with lyrics and voices at the center. Some of the singles were already released in 2024, showing their fluidity between genres.
